QuestionHello
My question is in regards to my magascar dragon tree. I adopted the tree from my work who in 4 months ago was going to throw this beautiful plant away. Although it did look like it was on its last legs, I brought it home and gave it this plant some TLC and 4 months later it has bounce back remarkably. I have repotted and separated three trees to another pot and repotted the main tree. All is doing well and growing so beautiful. My question is the main plant is now growing two more trees that now stand about 10 inches high when and how do cut them so they will branch out like there other family members.
Thank you,
AnswerStacey,
I would wait until next April and by then they should be even larger. Cut the tops out of them, remove the lower leaves, dip them in rooting hormone and insert them in soil, either beside the main tree on in another pot. They will root and their old trunks will put out new tops and side branches. Good luck.
