QuestionI have a canela plant that is about 5' tall. It looked great when I brought it home, but has subsequently dropped many leaves that area either yellow or browing. I can see that many more leaves are turing away from green to yellow.
I am watering the plant regularly, so I am not sure what is going wrong. The plant is in medium light (near an E window that gets plenty of light in the morning.)
It is still in its original pot (only purchased about 1 month ago), but I did plant that in a larger pot and slit the sides of the original pot so it had room to grow if needed.
Other ideas?
AnswerHi Crystal,
You have done something that I have not encountered before - slitting the side of the plastic grow pot. I understand that the grow pot is inside a larger pot, but I don't know if you filled in the space between the two pots with soil.
I also need to know just how close the east window is and if that window is covered or partially covered during the day.
