QuestionMy friend has one of those. It had beautiful red blooms on it forever. After those blooms dropped off, others started to form, but those look like a white berry. Will those also turn into a flower? I would be very pleased if you answer this for me.
AnswerBonnie,
I suspect that the white berries are seed pods and no they will not turn into flowers. I suggest that your friend cut the seep pods off. The process of ripening them will weaen the plant and the seeds will not produce a plant with the same beautiful flowers of the parent plant. If she trims them off and lets the plant rest for 30 days then fertilizes it with a blooming plant fertilizer and sprinkle a teaspoon of epsom salts on top of the soil before watering that should help bring the plant bac into bloom again in about 3 months. If she has any more questions feel free to write again. Good luck.
