we have been getting alot of flying bugs that look like small moths. I'm not sure thats what they are. We keep alot of fruit around the house. Can you tell me what they are and how to get rid of them

Hi Steve,

If the flying critters are small and black they are either fruit flies or fungus gnats. The former gather around ripe fruit whereas the latter swarm around plants.

If they are small and white, then they may be whiteflies that gather on certain plants. If this seem to be what you have, please tell me the name of the potted plants where you are finding them on the leaves.

Once I know what you have, I can help you treat them if they are either fungus gnats or white flies.
