QuestionIt's the kind that likes it dry, it has 5 leaves, one stem, was sold as a small house plant. I hear it is a tree and doesn't like pruning. I am not trying to keep it little. It is a tree, so be a tree, however, it is WAY top heavy from over-watering I am figuring out. It is woody about a 1.5 feet and then green 3-4 feet more. I want to be a better mommy, but want to have a plant that is not leaning. This question has been ask on a couple of sights, but not answered in "how to" style. How can I trip this leaning, top heavy otherwise healthy plant? Or how do I solve the problem? Please help. AND I appreciate your time!!
AnswerKarla,
You should be able to do some tip pruning safely but not real heavy pruning of large branches. You can also do leaf pruning of the over grown side which will give the smaller side a chance to catch up. Also keep the smaller side more toward the light and tbhe larger side away from the light to help slow down it's growth. Good luck.
