QuestionMy coconut palm tree is turning yellow. It is still in the pot that came from the store and the palm tree has been under alot of sun.
AnswerHi Miriam,
Your coconut palm may be getting too much light or you may not be watering it properly.
If you have it outside, then it should be in light shade, not direct sunlight. If it is indoors where the light is much less intense, then it should be on a sunny windowsill.
Allow the surface of the soil to become dry and then water it thoroughly. This plant is difficult because it is not very forgiving of watering mistakes.
