It is likely that your Canela is reacting to the repotting. However, there may be other factors involved as well.

Tell me how much light it gets - how close is it to the nearest uncovered window?

How long have you had it?

What was the diameter of the old pot and how wide is the new one?

Does the ceramic pot have a drainage hole?

What is your watering routine?
