QuestionPart of my tree is now too tall for the room it is in and as all the rooms are the same height moving it to another room is not possible, so is it ok to remove some of the leaves at the top to give the plant more room, and if so which would be the best way to do this.
AnswerHello Jamie,
You could take a sharp knife or pair of scissors and cut the leaves of at the base. You could also cut the stem down a few feet and new leaves will begin to grow in time. If you cut the stem or remove a lot of leaves you'll want to be careful about overwatering. If the plant doesn't have leaves or has a bunch cut off it wont be using as much water as it used to.
Good Luck,
Justin
