QuestionWHAT IS THE TALLEST RUBBER TREE PLANT HAVE YOU HEARD OR SEEN? MY WIFE AND I HAVE ONE THAT OS @ 7FT AND STILL GROWING
THANKS DAVE
AnswerDavid,
In the tropics when planted in the ground they can get up to 80 feet + tall. We have one in our botanical conservatory here in Fort Wayne, IN that is 30 foot tall. It will get as tall as you allow it to by moving it to bigger and bigger pots. Keep it in a smaller pot and prune the roots and prune the top and you can maintain it at a smaller size. All members of the ficus family can become quite large trees. Good luck with yours.
