Hello, I have many beautiful indoor plants, and we will move soon, and I want to preserve them. Would my indoor plants be able to survive 1 week in the dark of a moving truck ? Thank you for your answer. My best. Agnes

Hi Agnes,
I would not recommend keeping your plants in a dark moving truck for a week. Some low lights plants may be able to survive a week in the dark but at best they will lose vigor and take a long time to recover from not just a week in the dark but also the added stress of a change in environment. Most other light level plants may not recover. I would recommend finding another way to transport your plants. Covering your plants with a clear plastic bag will help protect your plants from the shock of a sudden change in environment and accidental leaf damage during the move.
