Questioncan i grow peace lillys directly in water and get them to bloom? do i have to add fertilizer to the water
AnswerHi Mel,
Peace lilies are less likely to bloom when grown in water than when potted in soil. However, many peace lily hybrids sold today do not flower very well even when potted in soil. Genetics is a very important determinant of flower production.
If you can get a hydroponic fertilizer solution, that would be best. Otherwise get a complete fertilizer that lists the minor and trace elements on the label as well as the macro elements and add a very tiny amount to the water that your peace lily grows in.
