QuestionI purchased a bloomed basket of Chrysanthemum. The flowers were beautiful but with time they started to dry out. I removed all the dried flowers. How long is it going to take for the flowers to bloom again? is there something that i need to do?
AnswerHi Ariana,
Mums will not bloom again as indoor plants. Indoors the light is not strong enough and the temps stay too warm all year round.
Most pot mums are hybrids that have been forced into bloom. As such, they rarely flower again, even outdoors. You can try keeping your mums outside and perhaps you will get another cycle of flowers, but don't count on it. Most folks discard potted mums after they finish flowering.
