Question
I live in Florida and have a huge ficus in my back yard.  It's taller than my 1 story house and has a great span to its width.  I've just found that it has curled leaves all over it that contain very small black bugs.  The tree doesn't seem to be in distress at this point but I don't want it to be damaged.  This is obviously a big fix, so how would it be treated and who do I call?  Thank you so much for your reply!

It sounds like it might be scale insects. You might try getting an insecticidal soap with an attachment to hook up to your hose. But to be honest your best bet would be to call a local arborist (tree expert) and have them take a look. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
