QuestionHi Will. When I sent you hte email with the photos of the plant leaves I forgot to ask about prunning my parlor palm. Can I prune the fronds that I suspect have mites? Does prunning a parlor palm stunt the growth?

AnswerHi Dwight,
You can prune off individual palm fronds, but you cannot prune off the top growing tip on any stem. Pruning a palm growing tip will stop it from growing and eventually it will die. I addition, you cannot propagate palms from cuttings.
