Hi:

We recently purchased a ruffled edged palm or raggd edged palm and the bottom leaves have started to turn brown.  We have it in a very bright natural light and have let it become dry to touch then watered.  Any suggestions? THanks

I am not at all sure what type of palm you have. Do you know the latin name? I could find no information on the internet for a ruffled edged palm or a ragged edged palm. I suggest that you go back to where you purchased it to find out the latin name for your palm then we can figure out it's exact needs. It may need more water or less light. Good luck.
