QuestionHow do aloe vera plants have babies.
AnswerHi Deborah,
When an Aloe Vera is healthy, kept in a small pot, and given lots of sunlight, it will produce small baby plants called offsets at the base of the plant.
These offsets can be left on the plant and they will help fill out the pot and can become as large as the "mother" plant. Or you can pull them loose where they attach to the "mother" and put them into their own pots.
Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions. If you would like to e-mail me some photos, I may be able to provide some additional insights.
