Inour house we have a rock wall that has moss on the rocks.  I was told that there is a mixture of ingredients (mayo, beer, etc) that could be sprayed on the moss to liven it up.  If you are familiar with this, could you please send me a recipe for "moss food".  If you need anything else, please let me know.  I Thank You for your time, Paul

Hi Paul,

Moss is not a plant that is ordinarily grown indoors, so your question is a bit outside my area of expertise.

The key to growing mosses is to provide a cool, constantly moist place that is protected from the direct sun. I cannot think of anything in mayo or beer that would be beneficial to the growth of moss.

An outdoor gardening expert could probably provide better information.
