creeping charley

Question
I have a creeping charley plant that belonged to my grandmother.  She had it for years.  She recently passed on and I got the plant.  I am trying desperately to save it but am not having any luck.  How do I take care of this plant and how do I make more of it.  My grandmother used to take cuttings off the plant, but I didn't pay much attention to what she did after that.  She loved this plant and I loved her very much and don't want it to die.  Please help me if you can.  Thank you, Kathy

Answer
Hi Kathleen,
Creeping Charlie plants are very hardy easy to care for plants. Just give them bright light and allow the top 1-2 inches of soil dry between watering.
I have always found Creeping Charlie plants to be the easiest plant to propagate, I even used to joke that all you had to do was take a cutting and show it some soil and it would root.
Take a stem cutting that has 4-6 leaves, make the cut just above a leaf node. Remove the bottom leaves, leaving the top 2-3 leaves at the tip. You can either put the cut end of the cutting in water or into fresh soil. It will probably root fairly quickly. Putting 4-6 rooted cuttings in a pot together should be enough to start a good size plant.
I hope this helps. If you have any questions or need additional information please don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks
