QuestionDarlene, we have a couple plants that have survived from last christmas season in our office. they have grown taller but alot thinner. How can I prune back to have them fill out and turn red again?
Thanks for any help,
Wayne
AnswerWayne,
They should have been pruned in half in August and at this point they should be receiving a dark treatment at nights so they will bloom by Christmas. The dark treatment should have been started at the end of Sept. If you start it now you may have blooming poinsettias for Valentines.
The following websites have more complete instructions:

If you have more questions write again. Good luck.
