QuestionDear sir
I have a yukka plant that I have had about 6 months and alately all the largest leaves underneath have started dying.I keep it next to the television out of direct sunlight it is about 18inch tall. The pot is big enough as I only repotted to a larger pot a few months ago using brand new compost.Have you any idea why all the largest leaves are dying but the few that are left at the top seem to be ok for now? Thank you in advance

AnswerSteve,
The leaves are dying becuase your yucca is not getting enough sun. This is a desert plant and it loves the sun. Move it to in front of a south facing window with the drapes or blinds open all day and the condition should improve. It needs the sun.
Good luck.
