QuestionMy Orange tree is indoors. It produces 100's of flowers but has not produced any fruit in the past 2 years. Prior to then it produced several nice oranges. Is this a pollination issue or a nutrient issue. What can I do to make it produce fruit indoors. The tree is very healthy and is a well light area
AnswerBrian,
It is probably a two fold problem. It needs more sun to produce fruit and better pollination. I suggest that you get it outdoors in the spring and that will solve both problems. It is possible to polinate flowers with a bird feather but I have not been successful doing that. If you can't get the tree outdoors I suggest that you look up on Google hand pollination. But insects outdoors are still the best method. Good luck.
