QuestionI have an african violet that has been blooming now for about 6 - 8 months and seems to be very healthy. The odd think about the plant is its leaves (actually the stems). All of its leaf stems are about 6 inches long. It looks like a Daddy long legs spider. Should I be doing something different with it or is it perhaps a variety that I am unfamiliar with. I feed it liquid violet fertilizer every 2 weeks.
AnswerJanine,
I love your description - like a Daddy long leg spider! I can barely imagine a violet such as this one. I wonder if you could email me a photo of it? I will give my address to you:

I will look forward to your reply.
