QuestionDarlene,
Yes I repotted the plant as soon as I got it. It was in an 8" pot and then I put in a 10" pot. Does that have anything to do with it?

Hi, I have a madagascar dragon tree that I recently bought about two months ago. When I first bought it the leaves were perky and pointed up. They have now sort of drooped down in an arch shape. Is there anyway I can get them perky again or does this just sometimes happen with these plants. It is in moderate/low indirect sunlight and I water it every 1-2 weeks.

Tracey,
Did you repot the plant and if so what diameter was the old pot and what diameter is the new pot? I would try moving it to a brighter location closer to a window and be sure to let it get dry between waterings. Let me know about the repotting?
Darlene
AnswerTracey,
It is better to repot in the spring but you did put it in the right size pot so it should be fine. It is just going to take time for the roots to recuperate then the leaves should perk up again. Again, I would try moving it to a brighter location closer to a window and be sure to let it get dry between waterings. Getting dry between waterings will give the roots a breathing period and help them recuperate faster. Good luck.
