QuestionI was at Whole Foods and they were selling bunches of curly willow cuttings/branches. They had them in water and some were rooting.
I loved the way these looked! Could they be an indoor plant and stay alive in a vase or pot? I can't find any info on them. Your help would be appreciated.

AnswerErica,
Go to google or another search engine and put in curly willow tree. You will come up with lots of sites with lots of info. I have one in my yard that is about 15 years old and 40 feet tall. You can root them easily in water and then plant them in your yard. I use the dried branches in floral arrangements.
No they will not make a good houseplant as they are a deciduous tree and need cold temps in the winter when they loose their leaves and become dormant. In the spring they come back to life just like other trees. Not a good houseplant but a beautiful tree.
