We are looking for plants like the Mother-In-Law Tongue that require little care for office and common areas. What other type of plant would you recommend to compliment this plant?

It depends on what you mean by "requiring little care." Do you mean that they won't need much light or that they can go a couple of weeks or more without water?
For example, the MIL Tongue can go month or more without water, but it does not thrive in low light.
The available light is very important because if a plant does not get adequate light, then it is just a matter of time before it declines, regardless of its care. So if you can describe in detail the available light, that would be the best starting point for me to recommend plants for you.
