QuestionHello Darlene,
I have many house plants and I recently have come across 2 problems.
1:I have 10 Spathiphyllum and recently, the tips on some leaves have turned brown and now the edges are turning.
2: I have 2 Aglaonema "Diamond Ray" and some of the leaves are starting to fade in color and die. I have not moved either plants. They get light but not direct sunlight.
I appreciate any help you can give me.
Thank you,
Michael
AnswerMichael,
These plants need bright enough light that you could read a newspaper sitting where they do, but no direct son.
The brown leaf tips and edges are generally the result of being watered too much. They need to get pretty dry betweenn waterings so the roots have a chance to breathe between waterings. They are not swamp plants that like soggy soil. Good luck.
