QuestionKristina,
I have a mother-in-law tongue (or snake plant) that received sunburn when it was put outside for two days while we painted our living room. Should I remove the leaves that are damaged? If so, what method do you recommend? The damage is mainly at the tips. The entire plant is about 1 1/2 feet tall. Also, how do I know when it is time to repot this plant?
Thanks a lot! Nari
AnswerJust remove the damaged parts of the leaves. There is no need to remove the whole leaf. Just use some sharp sissors and follow the natural growth pattern the best you can.
I repot all of my plants once a year. Spring is usually the best time but any time you think the plant really needs it...it will be ok.
