Question
My gloxinias look healthy but the buds turn brown and never open.  How can I correct this?

Hi Betty,

Bud blast has many different causes. The most likely are keeping the soil too soggy, not providing adequate light and allowing the soil to get too dry.

Allow the top half inch of soil to dry in between thorough waterings. Provide lots of bright indirect light such as you get on a north-facing windowsill.
