QuestionCan you tell me the proper location within my home for a lemon button fern? i.e., N, S, E W window? Or far from a light source? What kind of care does it need??
Thanks.
AnswerAdrienne,
Lemon Button Fern-This great little fern does well in a wide range of conditions but best of all is that it is compact in size and is one of the few ferns that fairs well with neglect and does extremely well in wet habitats. It stays under 12" tall and sends creeping runners which sprout new plantlets. It can be near a north or east window. It should not have direct sun on it in the afternoon. No plant will survive in a location where your hand will not make a shodow during the day. It likes high humidity. Do not keep it constantly wet or leave it sit in a drain tray full of water. Good luck.
