Hi Iam going over to spain on Thursday and would like to take some plants from my Mum s garden in the North of England,I am not sure if Iam allowed to take plants from this country, If Iam which plants would grow in my garden in Spain, We have a villa in the mountains on the Costa Blanca

I have no idea about the legal question. Are you driving or flying? If you are flying call the airlines and ask. If you are driving is there an inspection center at the border? If so it may not be legal, if no inspection centers it is probably legal. To be sure you might go to a large nursery in your Mums area and ask, most likely they would know. The problem is usually getting them into your country, not out of your mothers.

Most plants would survive in your area. The main difference would be that your area in Spain is dryer so you may need to water them more often than your mother does. Good luck.
