AnswerMohamed,
Gardenias are wonderful plants that need lots of sun and warm temperatures. They also prefer sandy soil and most of the ones in stores are in peat based soil which holds too much moisture and keeps them too wet. They do very well in Florida and other tropical ares in full sun, sandy soil and warm temps. To keep them healthy and blooming you need to duplicate their conditions in a tropical area. When the soil is too wet and they are not receiving enough light or they get cool drafts they tend to drop their buds. Keep it out of any drafts. Move it to a sunnier location and let it dry out more between waterings. Good luck.
