Did you inspect the plants as I suggested to determine if they are spider mites? If they fit the description I provided, let me know and I will tell you how to treat them.

If not, please provide a more detailed description of the spots that you are seeing. In the absence of photos I need to know the size of the spots, which leaves they are on (new or old), what percentage of leaves have the spots, and where on each leaf the spots are located.

I also need to know the height of the plant and the diameter of the pot; how often and how much you water; if your local water is on the hard side; and how close to the nearest window your plant is.

I apologize for all of the questions, but I cannot provide an accurate ddiagnosis without specific information.
