QuestionHi, I have several orchids that grow and grow and grow. I have never had a problem with any of them and they bloom continuously. Lately I have noticed a white powdery substance on many of the blossoms on two of them (each plant typically has up to 15-25 at most times). Do you know what it could be? I have never seen it before and I have had these same plants for over 4 years.

I an in northeast IN and definitely not an orchid expert, hoewver it sounds like powdery mildew whiich is a fungus which can attack lots of different plants. Here is a website that may have more info for you or you can come back to All Experts but ask an orchid expert.
