Question
I have had my money tree plant,6/23/04 It was growing with green leaves very fast.

Two weeks ago brown spots is on some of the leaves.

It is in a big pot by the window, so the east sun can shine on it, I think I am doing the right thing, because this problem just started.
I live in southern CA.

The latin name for your plant is Pachira aquatica.
These plants are usually pretty care free and can survive with low light. It does not like to dry out so if it has been too dry that could be the cause of your spots. Below are some wwebsites with more info about your plant.
