QuestionHi!
I'm basically convinced that my dark basement room with a 2'8" x 1'4" ground level window won't let in enough light to support any plant life. Is there anything green out there that will grow in dim natural light and basic artificial room lights? Thanks for all recommendations!
Ian
AnswerHi Ian,
Unless you can place the plant right in front of the window, then even a low light plant will not survive for long in your basement.
However, if you install a fluorescent light fixture, then there are a number of low light plants that would do well. If that is an option for you, let me know and I will provide you with a list of possibilities. Otherwise, I would skip the plants for your basement.
Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions.
