QuestionI have a miniature rose bush in a 8" pot. It gets in-direct bright sunlight every day. Lately the leaves have begun to turn yellow and drop off.
This happens within a 36-48 hour period.
I am pretty sure this is caused because my heater is drying out everything.
I have been watering the plant every other day.
I'm hesitant to water it every day before I have some advice.
The plant is about 14" tall and not very bushy.
I thank you for any tips you can give me.

AnswerCraig,
Where do you live? How long have you had it? Miniature roses are extremely difficult to grow indoors. I have never been successful. They need both bright sunlight, not indirest light, and cold temperatures. They need a winter dormancy period or if you live in the south a semi dormant period. I live in northeast IN and I finally planted mine outdoors in my flower bed and they do fine. If it is too cold to plant it outdoors but you have an attached garage with a sunny window set it in the sunny window for the winter. It should not be watered daily, or even every other day, it needs to get dry on the surface between waterings. If you put it in the cool garage it may only need watered every 2 weeks. If you have more questions write again.
Good luck.
