Question
I have a 8 inch pot and it does not tell me the name of the plant just assorted foliage.  Lots of green stems popping up with large tear drop green leaves.
The tips of the leaves are turning brown and crusty (just at the very end)
I also have another large tree like plant thats leaves get dry brown spots.

Unfortunately the symptoms you described have many possible causes including improper light, improper watering, poor water quality, root damage, temperature extremes, and bacterial or fungal infections.

First, I would need to know what plant species you have. Can you email a photo to my address below so I can ID it for you? The photo might also help me understand the problem a bit better.

Also, it would help if you could tell me what kind of light it gets, when it was last repotted, and what your watering routine is?
