Hey my name is Colleen and i am in the 7th grade and i want to know how long oit will take to grow a tomato plant. I would really appreciate it if you could answer me back i'm doing a science experiment on it and it would help.

Hi Colleen,

My expertise is limited to indoor plants and tomatos are not commonly grown indoors because they need lots of direct sunlight. I can only tell you that tomato plants will grow much more rapidly in very bright light and much more slowly in reduced light. So how long it takes really depends on the amount of light provided.
