QuestionCan roaches live in house plants?
AnswerHi Ester,
Roaches can live anywhere! Some experts say that if there is nuclear war, roaches may be the only survivors.
Roaches do not live on the foliage of plants and they don't feed on the roots or leaves. However, they might take up residence in the soil; they like dark, moist places.
If you suspect that there are roaches living in your potted plants, then plunge the pots up to their rims in a sink or tub filled with water. Leave the put immersed for about 30 minutes. This will force the roaches up and out in search of air.
Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions.
