most durable low-light plant?

Question
What are some?

Answer
Hi Bob,

Durable can mean a lot of things, so it is hard to know just what your concern is.

A ZZ plant does well in low light and can easily go a month without water, but it should stay in temps above 50 degrees. It will withstand drought, but will not tolerate constantly moist soil.

A peace lily does well in low light and can withstand soil that is kept constantly moist. However, it does not tolerate dry soil or temps below 60 degrees.

An Aspidistra does well in low light and can withstand temps as low as 40 degrees. It prefers soil that stays moderately moist - neither too wet or too dry.

There is no one plant that does everything - except artificial. However, you should be able to select one of the plants listed above to satisfy your concerns for durability.

Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions.
