QuestionAll the leaves of my house plants look dull. At first I thought it was the dust. I cleaned them
with a damp paper towel, however, they still look
dull. Is there a solution I can use?
AnswerHi Yvonne,
Some plant species have leaves that are naturally shinier than other species. For these plants, a soft cloth is sufficient to buff-up the leaves to a nice luster.
Other plants may need a little mineral oil applied to the top surface of their leaves to get a good shine. The mineral oil should be diluted by about 50% with plain water. However, you can experiment with the dilution rate to get the degree of shininess that you prefer.
Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions.
