QuestionI have two greberas that I brought in from the garden in September. They are in two seperate pots approx. 6" in diameter. In a partially sunny location, on a shelf by a door.
On the first one:
All the leaves withered and died. I trimmed the leaves down, and it grew back only the leaves were smaller. Recently the leaves have started to get a white mold or mildew all over them. What can I do to get rid of this? I had a simialr problem when the plants were outdoors, inly no where near as rampant and wide-spread.
On the second one:
The leaves also wilted when I brought the plant in. I trimmed them, and they grew back smaller. Recently they started to wilt. I must be doing somethng wrong with my gerberas. If you have any tips for gerberas, they would be greatly appreciated.
Let me know if you need more information.

AnswerHi Stephanie,
In their native habitats, Gerberas are perennials, but in northern climates they are annuals. Indoors they are used as discardable plants because they do not survive indoors after they have finished flowering, except in climate-controlled greenhouses.
I am sorry I don't have better options for you, but I think you are fighting a losing battle.
Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions.
