Question
Dear Ms. Kittle,

I have a beautiful house plant that I received as a gift for my birthday 1 1/2 years ago.  I was told that it was purchased at Longs Drug Store and it was the only one there like it.  It was (at the time) about 4 inches tall with green leaves that have randon purple spots on them.  Since receiving the plant (which I think is the most beautiful of ALL my house plants due to its spotted leaves), it has increased 4X in size and has given me 4 different blossomings with small darker purple (w/a hint of blue) flowers that are about 1 inch in diameter.  Each time it has flowered, I have received 3 to 4 blossoms.  It seems to want to creep like an ivy plant.  I would like to incorporate the plant into my home decor if it is a creeping plant.  Any help you could offer would be wonderful.

P.S.  I have gone back to the Longs store it was bought at and have been unable to locate another plant like it.  According to their manager, after taking in my plant to show him what it looked like, he said that they never carried such a plant and that he couldn't help me out.
