QuestionI would like to know the watering and light requirments for a variegated jade plant. It is an indoor plant
AnswerCarol,
I have a variegated jade and I love it. They are slow growers. Indoors they love as much actual sun shining on them as possible. If it can be in a south facing window with no blinds, drapes or shades it would be perfectly content. As for water, water it well when you water it so all th soil in the pot is moist when you water it but do not leave it sitting in a tray of water. Dump any excess water out of the drain tray 2 hours after you water. Then do not water again until the soil has been bone dry for 2-4 days. Their roots need a breathing period between waterings. Jades are killed more frquently by overwatering than by underwatering.
Good luck,
Darlene
