QuestionHi again, I was hoping that you could help me with a problem I have with my Peperomia meridana.
I just bought it from a store and it was perfectly healthy. But over the past week or so, it's been losing healthy green leaves without any signs of wilting at all. And now one of the stems is starting to fall down! I've been misting it and keeping the soil moist, so I really don't know what else to do. (Thank you, Ben)
AnswerHi Ben
It sounds as if you are giving your Peperomia too much water-I would cut back on the watering and misting. Before watering, try to feel down about 1-2" (depending on the size of the pot) to see if the soil is moist or dry. Remember, that is where the roots are-just because it is dry on the top soil, it could still be pretty moist down by the roots. Allow the soil to dry out a bit and cut back on the misting and see what happens.
Good Luck
