Can I take the corns(root) of a Shamrock plant and keep them dormant in a dry cool place untill next spring (May 2005) ?

Yes, I would keep in the pot in soil and put the pot in a brown paper bag in the coolest location that I could find. In march start checking it weekly.  When you see signs of growth bring it out in full sun and water it immiediately and give it a dose of fertilizer.
