QuestionHi,
I bought this plant recently, it has dark green thick leaves, which become pointed at the end.the leaves have a white lining along the edges. The leaves all appear to come from a single stalk. what is this plant and how should I take care of it now as it is showing some brown spots on the leaves.I am sure it is a very common house plant as I got in A Dollar store.
Thanks for your help.
AnswerHi Raji,
Your decsription is not very detailed so I cannot give you a specific identification. Here are some plants that fit the description you provided:
Dracaena deremensis 'Warneckei'
Dracaena sanderiana (sometimes sold as Lucky bamboo)
Dracaena reflexa variegata
Yucca aloifolia 'marginata'
Pandanus veitchii
Chlorophytum comosum 'Variegatum' (spider plant)
Agave angustifolia marginata
If none of these are your plant, then let me know which is closest to matching yours and how yours differs from it.
Once you know what plant you have, then remind me to provide care instructions.
