QuestionI put my Peace Lilly outside for the summer. I got it back in April at my Grandfathers Memorial Service. It has more than doubled in size. It could easily fill a 24 inch pot. I need to know if I need to bring it in this winter or take it inside. And the flowers are green now not white like they were when I got it.
AnswerHi Amanda,
Peace lilies are tropical plants and will not survive temps much below 55 degrees. So depending on where you live, you will probably have to bring it inside for the winter.
No one seems to know for sure just why some peace lily flowers revert to green. I suspect it is because most peace lilies sold are hybrids and hybrids often change certain traits as time passes.
Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions.
