QuestionROBUSTA PLANT DROPPING LEAVES. NO NEW GROWTH
WATERING ONCE A WEEK ABOUT A QUART
AnswerHi there,
You didn't provide much detail, so it is hard to be specific.
Rubber trees require a lot of bright light. They do not have to be direct sunlight, but they must be close to a window where they can at least get bright indirect light.
Like most plants, rubber plants wil drop some leaves when they are moved to a new environment. As they adapt, the leaf drop will cease. If you repotted into a larger pot, that may be causing the problem. In that case, I suggest that you return it to its original pot.
Always allow the top quarter of the soil to dry out before watering. When you water, always provide just enough that a little runs through the draiange holes.
With good light, proper watering, and time to adjust, your rubber plant should recover nicely.
Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions.
