Dear Mr. Creed,

I was wondering if you know of any plants whose leaves close up when you touch them, other than Sensitive plant (mimosa pudica I think it is)

Hi Elizabeth,

The prayer plant (Maranta leuconeura) has leaves that fold up at night.

The Venus flytrap also closes when an insect touches its hair-like triggers.
